Colleen Ayers

Colleen Ayers | CAE, Senior Account Executive

Colleen has expertise in most aspects of association management, and is skilled at quickly learning the intricacies of each organization’s industry and unique concerns and pinpointing opportunities to streamline operations. She is responsible for coordinating day-to-day association operations and staff, including working with the Board of Directors and volunteer committees to accomplish strategic goals, planning educational programs and social events, member engagement, marketing, and financial and budget oversight.

Colleen’s most valued skill is her ability to build cohesive boards and committees and help them achieve their goals. She accomplishes this by nurturing the relationships between board and committee members, fostering open communication, and helping them to see things from the perspective of the organization as a whole. She has successfully guided several associations through strategic planning and re-branding initiatives.

Colleen also has extensive experience in developing association communications, including websites, mobile websites, newsletters (electronic and print), member directories, blogs, and various social media platforms.

Colleen earned her Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) in 2013, and recently completed their Advanced Membership course. She graduated summa cum laude from Lawrence University (Appleton, WI) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art and a minor in Gender Studies.
