Angela is a compassionate achiever who believes in approaching each day with a “can-do” attitude. As an executive director for non-profit associations, she knows how to wear many hats. Her experience and diverse background provide her with the perspective and attention to detail needed to lead organizations toward their strategic goals and manage their day-to-day tasks.
Angela’s transparent, open approach to communication builds cohesive boards and helps streamline operations. She brings connection and mission-centered ideas into focus when engaging in strategic planning and committee communication. In her event planning and all her work, she uses data-driven decision-making and best practices. Angela fosters collaboration and innovation so teams can create the momentum needed to move an organization forward.
She graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota-Morris with a BA in Biology and a Secondary Education Certification, followed by degrees in chemistry and physics. She recently added a project management certificate to her accomplishments. Her background includes more than 12 years of high school science classroom experience and five years of managing rural, suburban and urban non-profit healthcare organizations.
Angela and her husband Patrick, have 2 children and 5 grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys hospitality, hiking, music, and walking her dog, Riley.
