Jen’s favorite part about working with associations is that with a wide variety of projects and deadlines, no two days are the same. She is detail-oriented when leading operations which helps her ensure associations have the support needed to achieve their goals. Her broad experience, background in politics, and strong governance skills make Jen a trusted resource able to guide association leaders in making sound, strategic decisions.
Her experience includes almost 20 years working with state and local government and non-profit organizations. She worked at the State Legislature and served as the Board Liaison for the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, where she successfully worked to merge the previously two independent boards into one organization.
Jen is a member of Associations North and the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). She graduated from South Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Criminal Justice.
Jen enjoys spending time with her husband and two teenage sons. They all enjoy camping and ATV trail riding together. Additionally, she loves to be in the kitchen cooking.
