Katie brings extensive experience in event planning to the associations she works with. Her greatest skill is her ability to seamlessly coordinate productive, successful conferences for hundreds of attendees. Katie’s highly organized personality helps her quickly resolve problems, keep events and conferences on schedule, and budgets in check. From the strategy stages to the post-event checklist, Katie ensures all components are running smoothly.
Katie graduated from Concordia Saint Paul with a master’s degree in Organizational Management. She also has a Certificate in Festival and Event Management from the University of Minnesota. Katie has been a member of Meeting Professionals International since 2017 and currently serves on their Minnesota Chapter Board as the Director of Strategic Alliances. Previously, Katie was a member of the International Live Events Association for eight years and served on their board for three years in the roles of Director of Programs, Director of Communications, and Vice President of Membership. She was nominated for two STAR Awards for Best Team Effort and Best Nonprofit Event.
Katie enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, running and watching football.
