Sherri has a passion for producing events and delivering a well-executed, seamless event experience for all attendees, board members, and volunteers. In her 20+ years of event planning, she has built positive relationships with her colleagues and clients and managed numerous event logistics and vendor relationships.
She has a background in audiovisual staging and video production which has been invaluable in planning virtual, live and hybrid events. She takes pride in stepping in wherever needed and is known for staying calm under pressure and being a reliable asset to any team.
Sherri has a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Wisconsin at River Falls. When not at work she applies her skills as an active volunteer and ambassador for the Minnesota Colorectal Cancer Research Foundation, a nonprofit organization that funds research to improve the survival and quality of life of people with colon and rectal cancer. Sherri’s work as a video producer and annual gala program director has helped MCCRF raise over $500,000 in 2023.
In her free time, Sherri enjoys spending time with her two amazing daughters, walking her dog Stanley, hiking, snowshoeing, exploring the local restaurant scene with family and friends and traveling.
